PPL PRS, the music licensing company have announced measures they are introducing to support businesses during Covid-19.
The measures include:
If your licence review is due now, or soon, then PPL PRS have advised that they have suspended all reviews until at least 30 April 2020 and will review this in line with Government advice. However, if you want to proceed with your review then you should contact them directly.
If your business is temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 outbreak you will not be charged for the period that you are closed. If you have already paid for this period then they will look at the possibility of credit or refund.
If your business is permanently closed they are offering a pro-rata refund of the licence fee.
The full details of the measures and contact details for the PPL PRS can be found here.
