The Super Bowl (LIX) is due to be held on Sunday 9th February in New Orleans.
The competition is scheduled to start at 18:30 Eastern Time (23:30 GMT) and typically lasts for up to 4 hours.
Operators who are looking to show the game at their premises should consider if it is necessary to submit a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) to cover any licensable activities during this time. The showing of live televised sport is not a licensable activity but the sale of alcohol, late night refreshment and other regulated entertainment would require a TEN for activities outside of the licence hours.
Standard TENs should be applied for no later than 24th January with the deadlines for late TENs being 31st January.
For more detailed information on submitting TENs, visit our Guide to Temporary Event Notices (TENs).
