The gambling industry is coming together to support Safer Gambling Week. This national, cross-industry awareness campaign will run from 17th – 23rd 2022 and aims to get everyone talking about what is means to gamble responsibly, as well as directing those who need further advice and support to the right point of contact.
Safer Gambling Week, which is led by the licensed gambling industry with a support of a wide range of partners will see every sector of the gambling industry in the whole of the UK taking part (bookmakers, bingo clubs, casinos and online gaming operators).
The theme is to talk about safe gambling. All sectors of the gambling industry in Great Britain work constantly to promote responsible behaviour. By coming together with one voice, they want to reach more people and get the country talking about responsible gambling, the tools that are available to keep gambling safe and fun, and where to locate and support for those in need.
To get the message out as far and wide as possible, the industry will be undertaking a range of activities throughout the week, including:
