Licensing and gambling law specialists Poppleston Allen is delighted to announce the sponsorship of the 2024 National Pubwatch Malcolm Eidmans Award. The Annual Conference will be taking place on Tuesday 5th March 2024 in Sheffield.
The National Pubwatch is a voluntary organisation set up to promote best practices by supporting local Pubwatch Schemes’ work. It aims to achieve a safer drinking environment in all licensed premises throughout the UK.
The award, named after ex-Chief Superintendent Malcolm Eidmans QPM, a founder of National Pubwatch who died prematurely in 2012, aims to recognise the outstanding contribution made by a Police officer or a member of Police Staff in supporting the work of their local Pubwatch Scheme. Over the last 11 years, several members of the police force across England have received the award.
