This relaxation was due to expire on 23 March 2021, but this period has now been extended to 23 March 2022. The relevant planning regulations are here.
The sale of hot food and hot drink between 11:00pm and 05:00am will still require authorisation for late night refreshment under licensing law.
Furthermore, serving of alcoholic drinks will continue to be subject to licensing laws.”
