“The Home Secretary today has revealed plans to allow pubs, clubs and bars which are licensed to trade until 11pm to extend trade until 1am to celebrate VE day’s 75th anniversary. The proposed extension is for Friday 8 May and Saturday 9 May 2020.
This proposal will be subject to a short consultation with stakeholders, and we will announce once this has been completed.”
