The Government has announced a consultation beginning from February 23 2025 to March 23 2025. The link to the consultation is available here.
The consultation proposes to extend the licensing hours for the sale of alcohol (on the premises only) for the semi-finals and the final of the Women’s Euros in July 2025 should either England or Wales (or both) be successful in reaching these milestones.
This follows on from previous successful national extensions for significant events and, as before, the proposed extension would be to 01:00.
For further information or queries, please feel free to contact James Anderson or any of our licensing solicitors.
