Leading firm of licensing solicitors, Poppleston Allen, is pleased to announce that today Elizabeth Varley has qualified as a solicitor.
Elizabeth’s qualification marks an exciting milestone in her career, and helps drive the growth of the firm by adding another licensing solicitor to the team. Elizabeth initially joined Poppleston Allen in 2016 for a week’s work experience. Then in April 2023, Elizabeth began her training contract with the firm whilst studying at Nottingham Law School.
Graeme Cushion, managing partner, comments: “I am delighted that Elizabeth decided to complete her training contract with us, a feeling which I know is shared by the rest of the firm. During the course of her training, Elizabeth has demonstrated an excellent grasp of licensing and gaming laws; and even though very new to the sector, she has been an important part of the team in supporting clients across a range of sectors. I am certain that Elizabeth is at the very start of a long and successful legal career.”
Elizabeth comments “I am excited to start my legal career and am grateful to the whole Poppleston Allen team for the support they have given me over the last 8 years.”
