The Local Government Association (LGA) has provided guidance to councils’ licensing teams to promote consistent approaches by licensing authorities in respect of licensing and related issues.
The guidance touches on a number of different areas however it states as an aim that they want to ensure there is open and honest engagement with local businesses about the challenges facing both licensed businesses and councils during Covid-19 and to demonstrate flexibility.
The guidance touches on fees and enforcement and hearings.
